The Japanese Pokémon TCG "Shiny Star V" set (s4a) is a highly popular, large-scale "High Class" expansion from the Sword & Shield era, renowned for its inclusion of numerous Shiny Pokémon and high pull rates. Released on November 20th, 2020 it is the Japanese equivalent of the English "Shining Fates" set.
- Set Size: "Shiny Star V" is the largest Japanese set released at that point, featuring an impressive total of 330 cards, including 140 secret cards.
- Booster Packs: Each booster pack is unique, containing 10 cards instead of the usual five or six, and guarantees at least one Pokémon V or VMAX card.
- Contents Focus: The set primarily consists of reprinted cards from the Sword & Shieldera, with a special emphasis on powerful Pokémon V and VMAX, as well as many Shiny Pokémon (categorized under "S" and "SSR" rarity).
